We’ll guide you through a 5-stage interview process, aligned with our DNA. This gives us the opportunity to get to know you well: your experience, your drivers and motivations, and your interest in the Mondu product. Likewise, you have ample opportunity to get to know us! You’ll meet several members of the team and we encourage you to ask questions at each step of the way to assess whether Mondu is the right next stop in your career journey.

01. TA Interview

Let’s talk! In your first conversation, our Recruitment Team will walk you through the company and position and then open the discussion to assess whether the opportunity aligns with your experience and goals.

02. Hiring Manager Interview

Ownership, Problem-Solving, & Collaboration

Get to know your future manager. You will cover the details of the role, the anticipated markers of success, and your ability to work together to drive progress in the space.

03. Peer Interviews

Work Product Quality & Demonstrated Skillset

Time to meet the Team. Peers and/or stakeholders will dive in on your functional skillset, experience, and day to day working style. Some roles will incorporate a technical challenge, others will work through a case study or perhaps workshop a real time challenge.

04. DNA Alignment & Bar Raiser Interview

Values Alignment & Growth Mindset

You’re almost there! At this point, you’ll meet our Chief People Officer or another cross functional senior team member so you can dive deeper on the Mondu DNA and the work culture and expectations. Plenty of time will be reserved for questions so don’t be shy!

05. Executive Intro & Team Fit

The People Team ensures that the core of our business – the Mondu Team – is primed to deliver on our ambitious strategy through tailored recruitment, commercially-centered coaching and support, continuous development, and modern technical integration. We are building a People Product designed for hybrid engagement across the employee lifecycle.

Our Commercial Team plays an essential role in bringing Mondu’s customer-first philosophy to life. The team’s mission is to serve customers and partners through the whole value chain journey by offering the right product portfolio, delivering a fast onboarding experience, and ensuring smooth technical integration.

Additionally, our team makes sure that customers are constantly looked after in order to foster sustainable cooperation in the long run.

Marketing

Our Marketing Team’s mission is to build awareness of Mondu’s brand and its products. We drive the company’s demand and lead generation by turning customer insights and product news into compelling messages that address the needs of our customers. 

Our team consists of self-starters who take initiative, think big, and love problem-solving and brainstorming with their teammates, culminating in the best ideas and the highest level of execution.

(Strategy) International Expansion

Members of our Strategy Team play an integral role in the international expansion of one of the most exciting and fastest-growing start-ups of the global fintech industry.

The team consists of strategic problem-solvers with a strong drive to execute, driven by the ambition to open up new markets for Mondu at a fast pace and empower the widest possible merchant base in Europe and beyond. Our key aims include scoping new market opportunities, devising go-to-market strategies, and supporting their execution at launch.

Finance

Our Finance Team develops cross-functional finance solutions that support the whole organization.

It’s filled with experts who support the planning, prioritization, and implementation of strategic initiatives and tasks every day, acting as business partners. One of the Finance Team’s key roles is providing guidance on accounting and financial matters, sharing their broad experience and independent economic perspectives.

Our Banking Team manages external risks to Mondu, whether it be consumer risk, market risk, merchant risk, or fraud risk. The environment and day-to-day work is ever-changing – and it’s our objective to be ahead of the curve! 

As the BNPL market continues to expand, the credit markets we work in will only become more competitive. That’s why we built a team featuring the brightest and most inquisitive minds to ensure all investments and risks are handled with ease.
