During their first purchase, or with dedicated onboarding flows, we need to identify the company and the user applying to pay with Mondu. In some cases we need to perform a KYC (Know Your Customer) process, which we try to make as staggered as possible. If needed, this typically involves providing basic business information such as:
- Company registration details
- Business address
- Contact information
- In some cases, identification documents for authorized representatives
The exact documentation requirements may vary depending on the type of business entity (limited company, sole trader, freelancer, etc.). Mondu supports all types of businesses, including sole proprietors, limited liability companies, freelancers, and public institutions.
In some situations we ask the user to verify their identity or contact details (email/phone).
