Axel Neumann

Axel Neumann is Chief Strategy Officer at Berlin-based Mondu, an innovative B2B payments company, responsible for strategy execution and new business development. He has about 15 years of experience in the financial services as well as e-commerce. Prior to joining Mondu in January 2022, Axel held various leadership positions at Zalando, most recently as Director Corporate Development, where he drove strategic growth initiatives together with the Co-CEOs. Axel started his career as a management consultant in the Frankfurt office of Oliver Wyman, after obtaining his Masters degree at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. In addition, he is a qualified banker (Commerzbank, J.P. Morgan).
