We start counting the payment terms once we receive the order shipment confirmation from the merchant (seller).
The payment terms start once we receive the first invoice, even if it’s a partial invoice. For partial invoices, we will collect only the invoiced amount from you in instalments. When the rest of the order is invoiced, we adjust the upcoming instalment amounts to cover the remaining balance across the remaining time period of the instalment plan.
The cost for you, the Merchant, is typically 1.5-3.0%, similar to other payment methods like credit cards and comparable to Agio/Skonto. For your customers, 3-months installments are typically free of charge, while for longer installment plans Mondu charges an additional Buyer Service Fee.
