Axel Neumann

Axel Neumann is Group Chief Strategy Officer at Mondu and Managing Director of Mondu Financial Services B.V., the company’s Dutch regulated EMI entity. Based between Berlin and Amsterdam, he oversees group‑wide strategy execution, leads Mondu’s strategic partnerships, and drives new business development for the European B2B payments provider. With more than 15 years of experience across financial services and e‑commerce, Axel previously held several leadership roles at Zalando, most recently as Director of Corporate Development. He began his career as a management consultant in Oliver Wyman’s Frankfurt office and is a qualified banker, having worked at Commerzbank and J.P. Morgan.
